Lawn Care Services

Lawn and Plant Health Care services in Denver

For lawn service, why not call a professional plant health care company? Plant Health Care (PHC) is a holistic and comprehensive tree, shrub, and lawn care approach. Most tree companies only maintain trees and sometimes shrubs. In contrast, Ross Tree keeps all the woody plants and lawns green using routine monitoring, preventive treatments, and a strong working relationship with the property owner. We offer two lawn service programs for Denver residential and commercial property owners. Please see the program descriptions below. For a free estimate, click here to fill out a request service form or call 303-871-9121. We are at your service.

Lawn Care Program

Premium – Our Premium Program consists of five treatments per year: fertilizer, pre-and post-emergent weed control (including crabgrass), insect, and fungus control.

Organic-based – Our Organic-Based Program consists of five treatments per year. We use organic, natural fertilizers to help the grass grow. For weed, insect, and fungus control, we use synthetic products. Both programs achieve beautiful, healthy, and vibrant lawns. We stand behind our products and methods.

Insect and Fungus Control

Kentucky Bluegrass Fungus Treatments –Kentucky Bluegrass is a popular turf grass found in the Denver area because it is drought-resistant and provides excellent lawn quality, color, density, and texture. Necrotic Ring Spot (NRS) is a soil-borne fungus that causes doughnut circles of dead grass with a green center. NRS occurs in late July and August. Ross Tree treats NRS with the application of fertilizer sulfur amendments and fungicides.

Grubs Control – A telltale sign of grub damage is yellowish-tinged grass. The grubs damage grassroots by feeding and tunneling. We control White and Ten-lined June grubs with insecticides when eggs are beginning to hatch. We treat Billbugs when adults are present on the surface of the lawn in the springtime.

Thanks for being so accommodating, crew did a great job as usual.
